Fall TV
I suppose every year is the same, but somehow this fall's TV lineup seems impossibly good and also impossible to be able to keep up with!
Here are the shows that I am personally excited about and really want to make time to watch throughout the fall:
New
So obviously for these shows I don't know that they will be any good, but I am excited for them due to trailers or just prerelease chatter. I intend to post updates on those I do watch and what I think.

Returning
These are shows I’ve already watched everything until now and am extra excited for the return of. Basically guaranteed to be great. I should write some words on why you should watch all these, and I intend to.
- Shrinking (season 2)
- October 16
- Apple TV+
- Pachinko (season 2)
- One of the best ever shows I’ve watched. It’s hard to say that one season one, so we will see where it lands, but season 1 was astonishingly good.
- Season started already on August 23
- Apple TV+
- Slow Horses (season 4)
- First non-comedy I tell everybody to watch on Apple TV+. So far nobody has been disappointed in my recommendation. Great spy show.
- Season started already yesterday September 4
- Apple TV+
- Silo (season 2)
- Somehow still only had time to see first half of season one, but incredibly well-made, well-acted and great world-building. Didn't stop watching because I wasn't enjoying, just haven’t found the time. Sci-fi when it’s at its best.
- November 15
- Apple TV+
- Bad Sisters (season 2)
- Such a damn good show. Just watch it.
- November 13
- Apple TV+
- The Old Man (season 2)
- Season one was a ton of fun. I fully expected it to be a one and done and was surprised at a 2nd season. The trailer looks like it may go over the top. But I’ll watch as I really enjoyed, and we’ll see how it goes.
- September 12
- FX
- The Diplomat (season 2)
- For those of us in the intersection of loving The West Wing and The Americans, this show is like built for us. Much funnier than both though (darkly so). Smart too.
- October 31
- Netflix
